Average calculation

In order to calculate the weighted average, for the purposes of the final assessment,

• all the marks obtained in the examinations are taken into account (except for the tests which foresee a fail/pass mark);
• for each examination, the mark is multiplied by the number of ECTS credits attributed to the discipline being examined;
• the products thus obtained are added together and the total is divided by the number of ECTS credits used in the previous calculation;
• finally, the figure obtained is divided by 3 and the result is multiplied by 11, with the first three decimal places being taken.

The average obtained does not take into account any additional points nor the assessment of the dissertation discussion.
