Learning objectives
Knowledge and understanding.
Students need learn the fundaments of the structure and component of the anatomy of the different organs in the adult;
Applying knowledge and understanding
Students must use acquired knowledge to recognize gross anatomy, position of organs in anatomical models.
Making judgments
Ability to reason about the correlation between structure and function of an organ.
Communications skills
Ability to understand and be understood in technical situations
Learning skills
Ability to summarize a scientific paper published on anatomy journal and to write a scientific progress report

Lesson notes
Teaching methods
Oral lesson, lectures. Assimilation of scientific literature concerning the
methods, the experimental protocols, the animal models, stem cell
culture isolation and characterization procedures.
Before each new lesson, the teacher will first summarise then check
whether the previous topics have been well understood through an
interactive discussion with the students.
Assessment methods and criteria
Besides the short exams described above and performed throughout the
course, there will be a final oral exam during which the student wil be
asked questions on topics discussed during the course. Not only will be
the understanding of a specific topic valued, but also the capacity of the
student to trace those links necessary to the understanding of the
biological phenomenon described.
