Learning objectives

The student will acquire knowledge and understanding of the main
electromagnetic and optical phenomena and she will be able to formulate
and solve simple problems in these frameworks. She/he will know the
basic laws of electromagnetism and optics, with particular regard with
phenomena involved in chemical aspects, that will be the basis for future
studies. She/he will develop learning skills and she/he will be able to
identify the relevant points in a physical problem, the validity of relations
and their applicability.
