Integrated course unit module: THEORY

Learning objectives

The course aims to familiarize students with the basic skills to structure training programs designed to prevent and compensate for postural changes:-, knowing the causes and main compensatory theories and techniques to be implemented in the correct posture;-alterations of the cardiovascular system, knowing the causes and main compensatory theories and techniques to be implemented in the patient's cardiac recovery;-dependent alterations of muscle, knowing the causes and main compensatory theories and techniques to be implemented in the recovery of pathological entity.The applicants, in possession of an appropriate technical – knowing how to organize methodological, shall at the end of the course a specific working protocol refer to one of the previous aspects.

Course unit content

General Part
o Aims and methods of assessment;
o Definition of the scope of the scientific and experimental method in sport: basic assumptions and epistemological;
o What to evaluate in relation to the objectives and context of motor and sports;
o Basic Statistics for reading evaluation research specifications: Indicators, variables, etc.;
o The field and laboratory tests;
o Evaluation of learning / teaching: systematic observation, the development of grid detection, audio and video tracks, processing and distribution of a questionnaire;
o Match Analysis: tactical and technical evaluation in team sports, tools used and new professional profile;
o the administration of the test: protocol implementation, measurement and selection of a battery of tests;
o technical error of measurement.

o definition and choice of tests in relation to the disciplinehe role of heart rate in the assessment of aerobic activity;

o comparison of data with the reference tables;
o planning and programming of training in relation to the test results;
o strenght;
o theoretical notes on expressions of strenght;
o the maximum strenght: direct and indirect methods;
o what exercises and machines to use the gym for the evaluation of the strenght;
o jump test: test Sargeant, Abalakov, standing long jump;
o internal load, external load;
o flexibility and joint mobility;
o linear and angular tests for the main joints (hip, shoulder, spine);
o relationship between age and mobility;
o speed;
o ratio between speed and velocity;
o the main expressions or speed;
o sprint test with audible or visual response to stimuli;
o test speed: large-motor, finger tapping, para-t;
o Interaction between conditional and coordinative abilities.

Teaching methods

Lectures will be conducted with the use of oral presentations with presentation of slides and interactive involvement of the student according to the schedule defined at the beginning of academic year

Assessment methods and criteria

The evaluation of the degree of preparation of the student will be with oral exams and focus on the content of the topics defined by the educational program, as well as with fieldwork
