Learning objectives
The body of knowledge that will be acquired by the graduate, amounting to 180 ECTS credits, will constitute the cultural, scientific and relational background necessary to acquire full professional competence; this knowledge will be achieved through the students' participation in lectures, laboratory exercises, practical lessons in classrooms equipped with rehabilitation aids, supervised by professors/insttructors and tutors, as well as personal study (library, databases).
In particular, through the competences of the basic sciences of clinical subjects and the characterising sciences of hearing aids, the graduate will achieve a solid base of knowledge on the functioning of human organs and systems.
In addition, graduates will learn aspects of professional management relevant to professional development in work contexts.
In relation to these specific learning objectives, the training activities are mainly organised into specific course units and ensure a unified and, at the same time, interdisciplinary view of the teaching objectives.
Teaching methods include classes, seminars and working groups, and make use of modern teaching tools.
The training programme is structured, monitored, validated and optimised on a continual basis to support students in acquiring the competences, knowledge and skills included in the specific curricular profile defined by the regulations in force and in the specific course objectives.
These specific training objectives are, moreover, supported and implemented by a teaching staff that is aware of the need to make use of all the institutional tools activated by the relevant bodies for the purposes of accreditation and educational quality.
