Integrated course unit module: IMAGE DIAGNOSTICS II

Learning objectives

Know the radiological anatomy and the basics for Angio CT body and neuro exam.

Prerequisites

To pass Integrated Course of Diagnostic Image I and Management Data

Course unit content

TC anatomy of: Full chest and abdomen.
AngioTC and post-processing; Vascular anatomy TC; Intracranial circulation and carotid arteries; Thoracic-abdominal aorta; Pulmonary circulation; Coronary circulation; Renal arteries and spasic vessels; Upper limbs; lower limbs.

Full programme

CT anatomy of: chest (lung, pleura, mediastin, diaphragm, vases), abdomen and pelvis (liver, pancreas, spleen, surgeries, kidneys and urinary tract, vessels, genital apparatus, digestive tract, peritoneal and retroperitoneal tube).
AngioTC (examination technique; contrast medium administration); Post-processing (MPR, CPR, MIP, MinIP, VR); Vascular anatomy CT; Intracranial circulation and carotid arteries (anatomy, CT technique, atherosclerosis, aneurysmatic pathology, carotid dissection, interventional procedures); Thoracic abdominal aorta (anatomy, CT technique, malformations, acute aortic syndrome, aneurysmatic pathology, traumas, endovascular interventions, postoperative imaging); Pulmonary circulation (anatomy, CT technique, pulmonary embolism, pulmonary hypertension, atrial fibrillation); Coronary circulation (anatomy, CT technique, atherosclerotic pathology, aneurysmatic pathology); Renal arteries and splenic vessels (anatomy, CT technique, stenosis-occlusive pathology, fibromuscular dysplasia, aneurysmatic pathology, dissection, acute bleeding); Upper limbs (anatomy, CT technique, acute arterial occlusion, upper thoracic joints syndrome, succlavy theft syndrome, endovascular treatment); Lower extremities (anatomy, CT technique, atherosclerotic pathology, endovascular treatment and postoperative imaging, aneurysmatic pathology, traumatic pathology).
