Learning objectives
Course lessons include elements of epidemiology and statistics useful for planning a scientific research, basics of nursing practice based on efficacy tests, clinical practice recommendations derived from primary studies, systematic reviews and guidelines, and transfer of knowledge in clinical practice through scientific evidence. The thesis dissertation is also used as a planning template for a research. Finally, the principles of the evaluation of scientific studies are discussed.

Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of the achievement of the objectives of the course consists of a written examination. Through questions about the contents of the course will be determined whether the student has achieved the goal of knowledge and understanding of the content. Through questions regarding the planning of the thesis will be determined whether the student has achieved the aim of applying the acquired knowledge.
