FINAL EXAMINATION

Full programme

A prerequisite for the final examination is that the students must have obtained all the credits needed for the degree except those associated with the final exam, i.e. 117 credits.
If this criterion is fulfilled, one month before the final exam, the students must submit the application form for the final examination containing the title of the thesis and the name of the supervisors.
The thesis must contain the results of the internship activities and, on request to the Teaching Board, can also be submitted in English.
At least 10 days before the exam, the students must deposit a CD containing the thesis as a pdf file with the Science Student Office and as a pdf file via e-mail to the departmental Student Secretary Office. The front cover of the CD case must report the thesis title and the names, with signatures, of the candidate and of the supervisors.
Approximately one week before the final examination, the student must present his/her work in a seminar before the teaching board. This seminar will constitute a test to verify the knowledge and understanding acquired during their education and training, including their skills in problem-solving, interdisciplinary reasoning and in recording and interpret the phenomena they observe with the knowledge they possess.
The final examination is in fact a ceremony in which the students present their internship work in the presence of a general public and they will be awarded with the Master’s degree title and a grade, mainly based on the overall performance in the exams and in the final seminar.
