The University of Parma offers all its students various opportunities to foster the development of a real international dimension of higher education. From exchanges in Europe through the Erasmus Plus Programme to extra-European mobility with the Overworld Programme and numerous pathways for acquiring a double degree.

Some study courses, in fact, thanks to the conclusion of international agreements with partner universities, provide the opportunity, at the end of the university course, to obtain a double degree with one or more associated foreign universities.

Mobility in the European Union: Erasmus+ Programme
As far as mobility within the European Union is concerned, exchanges take place within the Erasmus+ programme.
It is recommended that you check the list of participating universities with the call actually active:

*Knowledge and certification in the Spanish language are mandatory. Please check the educational offerings in the vehicular language. In this case, an English proficiency of B2 is required.

Language Placement Test (LPT)

The LANGUAGE PLACEMENT TEST (LPT) is a test used to verify language skills in relation to study abroad, introduced by the University to enable its students interested in participating in European and international mobility calls, both in the European Program ERASMUS+ and within other international programs (OVERWORLD Program, Double Degree Programs, etc.).

Taking the LPT, with the exception of the exemption categories described on the web page below, is mandatory in order to participate in the selection procedures of international mobility calls.

Please note that students enrolled in Language Sciences and Cultural Studies for Special Needs are exempted from taking the test, provided that they apply for universities where English language use (either as a native or vehicular language) is expected and the required level is at or below the level actually achieved. In this case, the student does not have to show any certification, since competence has already been verified by the Course of Study.
