Curricular requirements and knowledge required for access
Admission Requirements
To be admitted to the degree program, candidates must meet specific curricular requirements and have adequate knowledge of the English language.
Curricular Requirements
- To be admitted to the degree program, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Chemical Sciences and Technologies (L-27) or in Applied Pharmaceutical Sciences (L-29), or equivalent foreign qualifications according to current regulations.
- Graduates holding a bachelor's degree in other fields of study may also access the program, provided they have completed at least the following in their academic career:
- 6 ECTS in basic subjects in mathematics, physics, informatics, and statistics,
- 12 ECTS in basic chemical subjects (organic, inorganic, physical, and analytical chemistry),
- 14 ECTS in core chemical subjects (organic chemistry, fermentation chemistry, food chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry, pharmaceutical technologies, biochemistry, chemical-quantitative analysis, applied analytical chemistry).
The ECTS must have been earned through courses, not through thesis and/or internship projects.
- For graduates holding foreign degrees, or degrees from systems that do not have ECTS or hold other qualifications, the verification of curricular requirements will be made by comparing the contents and commitments of the courses attended with the expected program structure.
For candidates mentioned in points 2 and 3, the verification of the curricular requirements will be carried out by the Admission Committee.
To fill any gaps, candidates may also enroll in individual courses and take the respective exams, receiving proper certification, for a maximum of 30 ECTS, prior to enrollment.

Adequate knowledge of the English language is satisfied by one of the following conditions:
- Having passed an English language exam with a minimum level of B2 (according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages: Learning, Teaching, Assessment - CEFR) as part of the first-degree program or in subsequent certified university training activities;
- Holding an official B2-level certificate issued by an organization accredited by the Ministry of Education (MUR);
