Double degree

The University, thanks to special agreements stipulated with foreign universities as part of internationalisation projects, offers international educational programmes that enable the acquisition of a double degree.

The courses awarding double, multiple or joint degrees are programmes organised jointly with foreign universities which offer forms of curriculum integration and structured student mobility schemes, with mutual recognition of the educational activities.

The double degree is an integrated study programme allowing students to spend part of their university career abroad at a partner university, and to obtain both the Italian and the foreign degree, guaranteeing recognition of the degree in both countries.

The main features characterising double, multiple or joint degree programmes are as follows:

  • mobility: the student attends part of their career at the University of Parma and part at the foreign universities involved;
  • full recognition of the activities carried out abroad;
  • achievement of a double degree (one from the University of Parma and one from the foreign partner university) or a multiple degree (one from the University of Parma and at least two others from foreign partner universities) or a joint degree (a single degree awarded by the University and at least by one partner university).

Dual/multiple degree programmes are unique opportunities offering students the advantage of benefiting academically, professionally and culturally from different contexts and of acquiring transversal skills: a specific added value that generates an international profile capable of facing global challenges.

CLEMFAS double degree

The CLEMFAS Degree Course pursues the strategy of internationalising teaching activities, in line with the University's guidelines and directives.

At the moment, the course does not provide for the possibility of a double degree, however, internationalisation initiatives are aimed at concluding International Mobility Agreements for Double Degrees (DD) in Overworld locations with foreign universities with strong agri-food department.
