To acquire new knowledge on periodontal topics, to be able to search the scientific literature, as well as to interpret and critically appraise scientific articles

Discussion and critical appraisal of relevant scientific literature; dedicated seminars; attendance of scientific conferences

Assessment methods and criteria

Written assay to evaluate the acquired knowledge, critical thinking and personal elaboration on the topic investigated. As an alternative, there is the possibility to attend specific and predefined seminars previously agreed with the teacher

Practical skills and knowledge of the course of Dental Hygiene and Periodontology I are required
