Learning objectives


The course aims to provide students with theoretical knowledge of the disciplines and legal institutions related to environmental protection and water protection. The aim is also to grasp the practical implications of the study of these disciplines and the interrelationships with the other scientific disciplines covered by the Degree Course.Knowledge: being able to understand the legal effects of the activity of the engineer in the environment. Judgment skills: being able to assess the legal impact of professional action carried out as an engineer and to choose the legal and economic structure that most closely matches his profession.Learning skills: being able to deepen knowledge in the legal field, thanks to the autonomous consultation of texts, sentences, specialized articles. Communication skills: knowing how to communicate with legal language in an appropriate way and grasp the different nuances and practical applications.

Teaching methods


The course aims to illustrate the main regulatory profiles that affect the figure of the environmental engineer. Therefore, during the lessons, the following teaching methods will be used: lectures, case studies, in-depth seminars. From the beginning of the course, on the Elly Platform, there will be some slides to support lessons and in-depth material

Assessment methods and criteria


The learning outcomes will be periodically monitored through the provision of intermediate tests and the holding of interactive seminars. The final exam will take place in oral form, for the purpose of the attribution of the vote, expressed in thirtieths. The praise is assigned in the case of excellent mastery of both the contents and the technical vocabulary. The test vote is immediately communicated at the end of the test. The student has the right not to accept it
