Learning objectives
By the end of the course, students should have gained competence in the following areas related to endodontics:
- Collecting a patient's medical history and performing a thorough physical examination to diagnose endodontic issues
- Accurately diagnosing dental pain
- performing local anaesthesia
- Isolating the operative field with rubber dam
- preparing endodontic instruments
- performing some of the phases of the root canal treatment under the supervision of the tutor
- discharging the patient by providing post-treatment instructions
- filling out the clinical record
- re-setting the clinical area
Prerequisites
To access the course, the student must have attended the Endodontics course at the fifth year and must have passed the related exam
