Learning objectives
the training objectives include the ability to employ the correct perception of risk to change the behavior of workers, implementing the most correct ones for the protection of their health and safety. In particular, for foreign workers to understand how the origin and culture of origin can affect the different perception of risk. Furthermore, they provide elements to be able to plan targeted and specific training of workers, particularly foreign workers, in whom inadequate risk perception is certainly one of the causes of the greatest incidence of accidents.

he course aims to provide the elements to understand the Perception and representation of risk: difference between sensation and perception, cognitive processes of risk representation, importance of the right perception for preventive purposes of self-protection and hetero-protection

Teaching methods
the teaching of the course is based on lectures, use of case studies with the use of videos, group and individual work, using interactive communication techniques
Assessment methods and criteria
the assessment of the achievement of the set objectives foresees the compilation of individual tests and group exercises. Also during the lesson oral questions are provided to the student on the topics covered.
