Course unit content
Contemporary medicine benefits from the enormous advances in imaging, minimally invasive treatment techniques, precision of invasive ones, targeted treatments, ... all these results derive from the continuous and prolific scientific research. However, in this context, in the care and management of patients, the most important moment is the clinical examination, now as in centuries ago. Developing clinical skills is an art and a difficult task for the medical student and the young doctor, regardless of which specialist they chose or will choose. The combination of the anamnesis and the clinical examination, our said by our historical professors of medicine, leads to a diagnosis in 90% of cases: and so it is today. Nowadays, a correct medical anamnesis accompanied by an excellent clinical ability can lead to choose the correct instrumental diagnostic strategy and to a quick and useful - where possible - treatment.
