Learning objectives
At the end of the course the student is expected to be able to:
-Know the basic principles of toxicology.
-know the toxicity of the most common substances present in the workplace.
-Understand the concepts of dose, threshold and effect.

Course unit content
The course aims to offer students the basics of industrial toxicology, the mechanisms behind exposure, absorption distribution and excretion of pollutants in the workplace.

Teaching methods
The lessons will take place in presence, in compliance with safety standards, unless further provisions due to the possible continuation of the health emergency.
The teaching material will be deposited on the Teams or Elly platform with access reserved for students and will include iconographic presentations, material provided in class and/or video recording of the lessons.
Assessment methods and criteria
The student will have to demonstrate that he has understood, and be able to apply, the concepts
of every subject dealt with.
The overall assessment, in thirtieth, is communicated immediately to the student.
