Students are expected to reach a B2 level at the end of the course.

Teaching methods

Class lessons: the program themes will be discussed with the aid of LISTENING/VIDEO and reading passages / pathologies. The proposed topics will be the subject of collective discussion and study on the basis of ideas and any questions raised during the lessons themselves.
Causa la situazione emergenziale le lezioni potrebbero anche svolgersi a distanza (in modalità sincrona/asincrona) utilizzando Microsoft Teams.
Due to the emergency situation, lessons may also be delivered remotely (either in synchronous or asynchronous mode) via Microsoft Teams.

Assessment methods and criteria

The final exam is worth 7 credits.
It includes:

a) a written test: students will be required to create a dialogue between a dentist and a patient based on the situation described in a case study / a translation from Italian to English and questions to be answered in English about the diseases and topics studied / a test on scientific and dental language with translation from Italian to English;

b) an oral exam: students will be required to answer questions about the whole study program
