Learning objectives
AIM: to acquire knowledge and practical skills to manage periodontal disease at a basic level.
The student at the end of the course should:
- have knowledge of periodontal diseases (epidemiology, pathogenesis and microbiological features)
- be competent at periodontal diagnosis
- have knowledge of non-surgical periodontal therapy

It is suggested to buy a UNC15 probe, a kit of standard Gracey curettes including 7-8, 11-12, 13-14 and a sickle scaler for hand-on training
