Learning objectives
At the end of the training on simulators the student is expected to be able:
- to make a correct access cavity
- to find canal orifices
- to scout the canal to the apex
- to shape the canal
- to fill the canal three-dimensionally
- to avoid ledges and blocks
- to prevent instrument separation
- to avoid apical transportation

Teaching methods
The pre-clinical exercises are carried out in the simulator classroom. Part of the armamentarium needed for the training is provided by commercial companies, while another part (access burs, endodontic probe, forceps) is purchased by the student.
The student performs the exercises on a simulator under the instructions of the teacher. During the exercises the student can consult his own didactic material
Assessment methods and criteria
During the training, the teacher assesses the quality of the exercise performed and, if necessary, corrects the student
Other information
Students will have to purchase personal material necessary for the training
