Integrated course unit module: PERIODONTOLOGY AND CONSERVATIVE DENTISTRY

Learning objectives

AIM: to acquire knowledge and practical skills to manage periodontal disease at a basic level.
The student at the end of the course should:
- have knowledge and understanding of periodontal diseases
- be competent at periodontal diagnosis and making judgements on the periodontal and oral hygiene conditions of patients
- have knowledge of non-surgical periodontal therapy

The course offers a critical appraisal of the scientific basis and operative procedures aimed at periodontal diagnosis and non-surgical therapy
