Learning objectives

The course aims to provide a complete knowledge of the materials and technologies currently available to dentists for the best performance of clinical practice.

Prerequisites

Anatomical knowledge of the orofacial area, basic knowledge of the pathologies and therapies of dental interest.

Course unit content

The course aims to provide the contents relating to the materials used in dentistry, with a look at what has been the evolution. The specific properties of the individual materials are illustrated and discussed together with the dental processing procedures. The main tools used in prosthetic therapies are shown.
