Learning objectives
Making the student assimilate the nature and use of materials and technologies used in dentistry through a systematic exposition of the chemical structure and physical characteristics of the materials and also the operating instructions and their manipulation with a particular interest in the development of technologies more innovative.
Prerequisites
Having attended the preparatory teachings of previous years
Course unit content
Having the student acquire through practical-application, the prosthetic techniques and operating procedures of the laboratory. At the end of the training the student will be able to perform the most common procedures for the packaging of various types of dental prostheses.

Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of the achievement of the objectives of the course involves the detection of pre-clinical and clinical activities carried out by the student and documented by the personal booklet of exercises. Will be asked questions to determine whether the student has achieved the goal of being able to correctly apply the knowledge gained.
