Learning objectives

The course aims to provide knowledge and understanding (I descriptor Dublin) of the fundamental issues in the field of computer networks, and the related technological approaches to their solution, knowledge of issues and solutions related to the network security, modern methodologies for distributed programming.

Attendance at lectures and laboratory activities of this teaching offers students this competence (II
Descriptor of Dublin): master the networking technologies and instruments.
 Taking into account the III, IV and V
Dublin Descriptors, teaching also aims to achievement of judgments (in the design study of computer networks), Communication skills and learning (knowing how to follow the evolution of network technologies, also by interacting with key stakeholders).
