Integrated course unit module: PRINCIPLES OF ODONTOIATRICS

Learning objectives

The course aims to improve the knowledge on the equipment of a dental practice in order to be able to select different devices on the market. To know and understand the main concepts related to basic equipments, their maintenance and sterilization. Knowing how to interact with the patient. Knowledge and ability to perform intraoral radiographs with the technique of centering.

Course unit content

To know and understand the main characteristics of the operational equipment of a dental practice and acquire the main concepts related to basic instruments, its maintenance and sterilization.
Knowing how to perform intraoral radiographs through the use of centering.
Knowing how to accommodate the patient in the dental practice and communicate with him through a sound approach.
To know and to prepare the set of tools for major dental procedures.
