Learning objectives
The aim of the training is the knowledge and the differential diagnosis of the main diseases of the oral cavity and maxillofacial region. The student will directly perform incisional and excisional biopsies under the guidance of expert tutors
Prerequisites
- Knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and histology of the head-neck region
- Knowledge of the diseases of the head-neck region and their differential diagnosis
- Knowledge of haematochemical and instrumental examinations of interest for the head and neck region
- Knowledge of the main drugs to be used for the treatment of oral lesions and of the head and neck

- Execution of incisional and excisional biopsies of oral lesions
- Compilation of medical records and photographs of oral diseases
