Learning objectives
The course will allow students to acquire updated and critical notions of:
-the origin of the notion of empathy
-the role of empathy in interpersonal relations;
-the psycho-neurobiological bases of empathy;
The relationship between autism and empathy.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge on the psychological bases of interpersonal relations.
Course unit content
The course will address the topic of empathy and ita psycho-neurobiological bases in relation to the autistic spectrum disorder.
