WHY PARMA? This course allows you to develop strongly multidisciplinary professional skills, at the intersection of psychology, behavioural biology and cognitive neuroscience, in the context of an integrated training project. In addition, the student will have the opportunity to study with some of the best psychobiologists and cognitive neuroscientists in our country and to acquire theoretical and methodological tools that will enable him or her to work as a psychologist with a solid scientific basis. In Parma you can learn about general and physiological psychology, developmental psychology, neuropsychology, elements of psychiatry and psychopharmacology, applied statistics, behavioural biology, ethology and cognitive neuroscience.

If the world of sport, exercise and general human health is your passion, this is the course for you.

You will be able to combine university knowledge with expertise and experience from the world of sport thanks to the collaboration with the National Olympic Committees (CONI, CIP), National Sports Federations and the University Sports Centre of Parma (CUS).

Theoretical/practical on-site courses and internship activities to be carried out at external, national and/or international facilities, consistent with the educational aims of the degree course, are foreseen.

The training course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to manage, organise and conduct motor activities aimed at the general population, with or without congenital and/or acquired pathologies, and at athletes of all age groups.

The course has a strong and growing attractiveness due to the educational value of the theoretical lectures characterised by a multidisciplinary vocation in the following fields of interest: area of management, area of research, area of training and didactics and advanced clinical area (nursing/obstetric clinical leadership experience).



At the same time, great importance is attached to internship experiences, as positively noted by the evaluations of students and graduates; in fact, internship experiences in line with the course's priority directions and organised on a 1:1 basis with senior figures of the specific professional profile are envisaged.



Throughout the course, it is possible to avail of the constant support of a tutor who will follow each student from matriculation to graduation.



Attendance at theoretical classes is compulsory for 50% of each block (or integrated course) in order to allow working students to enter.



The university provides annual scholarships for students who wish to try their hand at student tutoring.
