Integrated course unit module: CONTEMPORARY ART PRACTICES

Learning objectives

The course aims to give the students a methodological approach to the discipline, through the study of the most relevant visual texts.

Prerequisites

Students are required to have proper knowledge of the outline of art history, particularly of the 19th and 20th Centuries.

Course unit content

The course focuses on the characteristics of images in the modern era, from the sixties to the present day, through the analysis of the production of different media: photography, visual arts, cinema, videoart and videogames.
