Why in Parma?
The course relies on present and highly motivated teachers, who will help you acquire interdisciplinary skills to implement, coordinate and design educational interventions and services in the area.
The course includes thematic didactic in-depth studies, conducted by educational practitioners, and is open to graduates in other humanistic disciplines (subject to possible integration of credits for access). It is a good opportunity for those already working in the sector to update professionally and for personal promotion. 81.4% of graduates are employed one year after graduation (Almalaurea data 2022).
Most of the teaching activities take place in Parma city center. The study complex is just ten-minute walk from the railway station, has a computer lab with 40 workstations and a sector library (socio-psycho-pedagogical).

After graduation
The course will enable you to qualify as a Pedagogist according to current legislation (the Iori Law), and gain the necessary skills to design, implement, manage, coordinate and evaluate educational interventions and services in the area.
In the second year you will prepare for entry into the world of work by doing a curricular internship in educational facilities. Alternatively, you can study specific topics in depth within the University.
At the end of your studies you will be able to work in the coordination, educational planning and management of public, private and private social services in the field of education and training. You can also choose to continue your studies in pedagogical and didactic research in universities and research entities in Italy and abroad.
