Quality assurance is an indispensable process that involves all those who work in the university in order to:

define quality strategies in line with the university's guidelines and reliable procedures through which the governing bodies can implement these strategies;
implement activities to ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of all the university's internal processes, first and foremost in the service of the quality of education and research;
create awareness in all those who work in the university so that the individual activities are carried out professionally and effectively.

Student Opinion Survey Questionnaire (OPIS)

The student opinion survey questionnaire (OPIS) is a tool designed to detect student opinion in order to improve teaching, quality and organization of study courses. The questionnaire is therefore an integral part of the evaluation system; for the students, it is an important opportunity to make their voice heard and actively participate in the life of the course of study, ensuring better quality. For these reasons, the University recommends timely and accurate completion of the evaluation questionnaires.

Organization and responsibility for Course QA

Quality Assurance (QA) of study courses is a constituent element of the management, monitoring and measurement of the dynamics governing teaching.
The Quality Assurance actors within the Course are:

Degree Course President;
Quality Assurance Manager (QAM);
Course Council;
Course Steering Committee;
Review Group.

For the purposes of Quality Assurance, each Course is required to

apply, to the extent of its competence, the policies and general guidelines for Quality established by the Governing Bodies; carry out self-assessment and review activities of its own course and of the management of the Course according to the analyses reported in the annual report of the Joint Professors-Students Commission and of the data provided by ANVUR, the Evaluation Committee and the Organisational Unit (OU) Management Control also comparing itself with similar courses of study with a view to benchmarking
to promote continuous improvement and assess its effectiveness;
to implement the evaluation of teaching according to the University's arrangements.

TECO testing

TECO (TEst on COmpetences) tests, dedicated to the assessment of students' learning, also contribute to the improvement of the quality of training processes.
The TECO test is a project of ANVUR (National Agency for the Evaluation of the University System and Research) in which the Humanities courses of several Italian universities have joined and which also involves courses of study of other types. It makes it possible to collect data useful for the self-assessment of the course of study and the improvement of the quality of the course catalogue.

Single Annual Report (SAR)

The Single Annual Report (SAR) is a management tool for the design, implementation, self-assessment and re-design of the Course of Study.

The SAR will soon be viewable on the ministerial website UNIVERSITALY.
