Learning objectives
In full consistency with the professional profiles and employment outlets envisaged for its graduates, the Humanities degree course provides students with a solid basic, methodological and historical training in linguistic, philological and literary studies from antiquity to the contemporary age, as well as the ability to understand and analyse texts and documents in the original language.
The course of study also ensures:
knowledge of the outlines of the history of the ancient, medieval, modern and contemporary world;
a basic preparation in the fields of geography and art;
a good knowledge of at least one European language, in addition to Italian;
the ability to critically use bibliographical tools in the specific fields of competence;
the skills necessary to deal with cutting-edge topics in the fields of literature, history, linguistics, philology, geography, archaeology and digital humanities.
