Course units and programme of study

The programme of study is the set of compulsory and elective courses that the student must take in order to graduate.

Submission of the programme of study for your year of enrolment is compulsory and is required, in particular, for registration for examinations and for completion of the teaching evaluation questionnaires.

All current students must submit their programme of study online via the Esse3 system The programme of study may differ according to the academic year of enrolment ('cohort'); it may also provide for a choice between different study paths ('curriculum').

To see the list of courses that you can include in your programme of study, select the academic year of enrolment and, if available, the curriculum.

How the programme of study works

The list of courses in the programme of study represents the set of training activities that can be envisaged for each of the years of which the course of study consists and changes according to the year in which the student enrols. Free or restricted-choice subjects are optional learning activities that students may include in their programme of study according to the choice criteria specified on this page; the remaining subjects are compulsory for all students.

The programme of study must be submitted online by the student for each year using the ESSE3 system (see dedicated section).

Students are allowed to submit their own programme of study with options other than those presented on this page (and available in ESSE3), as long as it is consistent with achieving the course's educational objectives. In that case, the programme must be submitted to the Course Council for approval.

Instructions for compiling the programme of study

Before filling in the Programme of study in ESSE3, students are invited to read the "Rules" of their degree course and the indications that are published each year at https://sea.unipr.it/it/presentazione-piani-di-studio

Compilation periods for the programme of study

The programme of study must be completed in ESSE3 during a time period that is decided each academic year and indicated at https://sea.unipr.it/it/presentazione-piani-di-studio (generally from November to February); during this period the programme may only be completed once.

Any changes to the programme already submitted can be made during the spring opening period (usually March - April).

The Trade and Consumer Marketing programme of study A.Y. 2022/2023

The course is taught in Italian apart from Loyalty Marketing and CRM (10 ECTS credits), Modern Retail Development (8 ECTS credits), Behavioural Economics (7 ECTS credits), Marketing Law (6 ECTS credits) and one elective (Health and Wellness Marketing) which are taught in English.

  • Part-time students
There is a specific path for those who wish to enrol with the status of 'part-time student'. This path is designed specifically for a part-time student, involves changes to the traditional study course in terms of time and tuition fees.

Recognition of international certifications

As an alternative to taking the Business English exam, it is possible to present the Cambridge ESOL certification, BEC 2 (Business English Certificate) - for level B2 Click here for more information.

Other international certifications such as IELTS, TOEFL, FIRST or CAE, even if obtained by the student at a level of B2 or higher, cannot replace the Business English exam because they concern general English language knowledge and not English for business.
However, we strongly encourage students to obtain these international certifications because they are required by many (not all) foreign universities in order to apply for Erasmus and especially Overworld (study period at non-European universities), in addition to the University Language Test score, which all students interested in applying for Erasmus or Overworld must take.

Welcome day - Lezione zero
