Course unit content

The course is divided into two parts, the first dealing with the mechanisms involved in language acquisition, and the second focussing on aspects of language-teaching applications. Special emphasis is given to the learning/teaching processes of Italian in non-native speakers, as compared to the learning of Italian as L1.
Lectures focus on teaching Italian to bilingual learners in an L2 context and in particular on the relevant teaching tools suitable for their linguistic and cultural needs.
