<br />PHYSICAL CHEMISTRY CALCULATIONS<br />Thermochemistry. The determination of the heat of formation of a compound under constant volume conditions or constant pressure conditions. Calculation of entropies and free energies of formation and of reaction at ambient and elevated temperatures. Determination of equilibrium constants from experimental data. Phase Equilibrium. The vapor pressure and heat of vaporization of liquids.<br />Liquid-Vapor equilibrium in a binary system. Solid-Liquid equilibrium in a binary sistem.<br />Conductivity of solutions. Applications of conductance measurements. Thermodynamics of an Electrochemical Cell: calculation of free energy, enthalpy and entropy of reaction. <br />Determination of thermodynamic quantities from e.m.f. measurements.<br />Physical Chemistry Experiments with a computer simulation by LabVIEW
