Learning objectives

The Urban Planning Studio for the Sustainable City provides students with advanced knowledge in the analysis and assessment of urban and territorial settlements. The Studio aims at making students able to face the reading and interpretation of the current urban planning tools in the perspective of environmental, social and economic sustainability.
The studio deals with these issues by integrating the teachings of Urban planning for sustainability, Open Space planning and city ecology, Landscape planning and design, Urban and environmental applied physic, Economic evaluation of plans and projects.
