Learning objectives

The course aims to provide a theoretical and practical knowledge of the main investigation techniques used in Cognitive Neuroscience

Prerequisites

Basic knowledge of Neurophysiology

Course unit content

Review of the main techniques of analysis of brain functions applied to cognitive neuroscience. Study of the fundamentals of the main investigation techniques for the functional and structural study of neural systems involved in sensory-motor and cognitive processes.
The course also provides, through practical exercises, basic skills necessary for the management and processing of data through the use of dedicated software.

Full programme

Introduction of the neurophysiological basis of cognitive functions
Introduction to the fundamentals of investigation techniques in cognitive neuroscience
