Teaching methods

Participants will have to produce hand hygiene promotion materials (e.g., posters, playbills, videos, objects). It is possible to work individually or in groups. No limitations are placed on the characteristics of the products; the message is to be addressed to health care professionals or visitors in healthcare setting.

Assessment methods and criteria

The materials produced by the participants will be evaluated by a specific jury. The products will be presented on May 5th, World Hand Hygiene Day (or any other date that will be communicated), and the winner will be announced. The winner in the local competition, together with the winners of the other Universities that have joined the initiative, will participate in the national competition, whose winner will be awarded at the National Congress of the Italian Society of Hygiene, Preventive Medicine and Public Health (SItI).
