2030 agenda goals for sustainable development

The theory of intersectionality offers a framework for clinical training oriented to social justice, addresses the cultural and interpersonal domains of social identities, but also provides an analytical tool for structural domains (institutional structures) and as disciplinary (organizational practices) (Collins & Bilge, 2016). In this way, intersectionality can offer clinicians a path to engage in the work of promoting equity. There is a growing literature examining applications of intersectionality in psychology (Case, 2017; Cole, 2009; Cole, 2015; DeBlaere, Watson, & Langrehr, 2018; Grzanka, 2017; Grzanka, 2018; Moradi, 2017; Shields, 2008 ; Warner, Settles and Shields, 2018)
