Learning objectives

Understanding of echocardiographic images and ECG. Knowledge of the diagnosis and treatment of the main congenital heart diseases of dogs and cats.

Course unit content

The course is focused on small animals cardiology. The topics will be: 1 cardiac embriology; 2- main congenital heart diseases of dogs and cats; 3- basics of ECG; 4- basics od echicardiography. Students will rotate at the cardiology service of the OVUD.
