The pedagogical objectives are the following ones:
- teaching to students to recognize texts of different types;
- teaching to students to produce texts of differents types;
- teaching to students to learn the main techniques of the "Commentaire littéraire composé".

Students will also be required to attend practical language lessons held by French language assistants throughout the whole academic year aimed at consolidating students’ language skills to a C2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference.

Prerequisites

The pre-requirement concerns the C1 Level of French.

Course unit content

Illustration of the main textual typologies, even through the exercice of the "Commentaire littéraire composé", thanks to the collaboration with a CEL of French Language.
This kind of exercice is particularly important from a pedagogical point of view, because it allows students to work on the different levels studied from a theorical perspective: thematic, linguistic, rethorical, etc., preparing them to essay writing.
The Course will be accompanied by a series of activities focused on the writing of a "Commentaire littéraire composé".

Other bibllographical information will be given during the Course.
