This year we will deal with THEATRE AND INFORMATION

During the last decades, on the Italian and European stages, several plays have dealt and deal with politics, information, social issues, and their dramaturgy is build using reportages, news and enquires from the world of newspapers and information. This course will introduce to documentary theatre, socially engaged theatre, to what are called "dramaturgies of realities"; we will approach critically the ways in which journalistic information is embedded in several contemporary theatrical aesthetics.
