Learning objectives

heoretical notions to perform the pelviperineal examination
- therapeutic pelvic floor exercise
- instrumental rehabilitation of the pelvic floor
- management of the neurogenic bladder and neurogenic bowel

Prerequisites

-knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the reproductive system
- knowledge of anatomy and physiology of the lower urinary tract

Course unit content

main dysfunctions of the female and male pelvic floor:
-urinary incontinence
-chronic pelvic pain
- posterior compartment dysfunction
- sexual dysfunctions
- neurobladder and neurointestine
