Learning objectives
The internship aims to enable the student to
understand the essential elements of technique, radiation protection and
clinical indications for imaging of the neck, chest, and abdomen. The internship aims
the purpose of allowing the student to use the knowledge and skills
understanding gained in identifying imaging techniques to
use as part of the major clinical problems.

Course unit content
Internship is composed by two steps: in the first part of the internship, students will attend the main imaging rooms (e.g. conventional radiography, ultrasound, computed tomography etc.); subsequently, a number of clinical cases will be shown to the students, who will be drafting some reports based on the training they obtained in the first part of the internship.

Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of the achievement of the objectives referred to in the course
includes an oral exam. Questions will be asked in order to verify whether the student has achieved the goal of
knowledge and understanding of content
