Learning objectives
The aim of the course is to enable the student to know and understand the complexity of an operating sector, the importance of the behavior of the operators, surgical techniques, instrumentation and anesthesiological techniques, also in order to allow the student the ability to use the knowledge and understanding acquired to prevent risks to patients and operators, to ensure proper care to the gynecologist surgeon and anesthesiologist during interventions and provide adequate assistance to the operatives and operations, as well as collaborate in risk management.

Surgical path: Periopertario, pre-intra-postoperative; medical record, intestinal preparation, preoperative shower, antibiotic prophylaxis, tricotomy, drug therapy; The Surgical Safety Check List (SSCL); postoperative monitoring.
Caesarean section: elective caesarean section, urgent, emerging; Lucas's code/color classification; main indications to caesarean section; surgical technique and anesthesia.
