Learning objectives
The Student will learn basic concepts about nursing care in obstetric and gynaecology.
During internship the student will learn basic caring issues of the patient; the student will observe medical caring of new mother and newborn
Prerequisites
Principles of fisiology and semiotics of human body systems.
Course unit content
The breast-feeding patience and her issues.
Post-partum issues. surveillance protocol about the wellness of the mother and the newborn in the first days after delivery.
Breast feeding in the first days after delivery.
Pain in gynaecology and in obstetric: causes, evaluation systems and therapy.

Teaching methods
The Course generally includes internships but, due to the sanitary emergency this aspect remain uncertain.
The Course will be held through lectures supported by slide presentations and video clips, wich will be available to Students on the Elly Platform( https://elly2020.medicina.unipr.it/).
Assessment methods and criteria
During internship the tutor will verify the student attendance and his learning.
