Teaching methods

The course will take place through lectures and practical exercises in the classroom. Self-learning activities are available to attend in the language laboratory located in the complex of Viale San Michele 9 with materials selected by teachers of Spanish.

Assessment methods and criteria

The test involves an assessment with itinere or final written and oral language exams. The final tests are divided into:
Written
grammar test. Written expression (500 words) and translation test from Italian to Spanish. This test is preparatory to the oral test.
Oral
The student should be able to know the texts, authors and formal issues related to the language phenomenon under examination. The questions also aim to check your knowledge of the topics covered as well as your ability to apply them.
The examination will be conducted in Spanish. For oral exams, the threshold of insufficiency is determined by a lack of knowledge of the contents, by an inadequate use of the specific language, by an elaboration without logical and expositive rigour and by the inability to express oneself in a Spanish corresponding to level C1+. The sufficient threshold (18-23/30) is determined by a partial knowledge of the contents and a minimum ability to apply and/or rework them, as well as by the demonstration of a linguistic level with characteristic features of level C1+. An assessment between 24-27/30 and 26-27/30 is achieved thanks to a good knowledge of the contents, demonstrating application skills, articulated exposure and an adequate use of specific language. The highest threshold (from 28/30 to 30/30 and praise) is obtained when it is demonstrated to have an excellent knowledge of the contents, autonomous, original and creative application.

Other information

The language exercises will be held during the first half of the year.
