Learning objectives
This course of study aims to teach the student to deal with clinical
problems of patients suffering from the most common diseases of
General Medicine.
The student must be:
- able to make a clinical investigation plan for diagnosis,
- able to evaluate clinical and instrumental data in differential diagnosis,
make a therapeutic, pharmacological and non-pharmacological plan for
the acute disease and chronic phase, know to apply preventive
measures.
It also aims to introduce the student the reality of the community that
includes all the services provided by USL, including the role of the
general practitioner.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of semeiotics and clinical methodology, pathophysiology and
pharmacology.
Course unit content
Role of family doctor in the “Servizio Sanitario Nazionale (SSN)”.
Organization of Community Medicine: “Medicina di Gruppo” and “Case della
Salute”.
Clinical role of general practitioner.
Development of General Medicine in Italy: from the health insurance
scheme to SSN.
New technologies in General Medicine.

acuta di malattia e l'eventuale fase di cronicità, conoscere e saper
applicare le misure preventive
Si propone altresì di far conoscere allo studente la vasta realtà del
territorio che comprende tutti i servizi erogati al cittadino dall' Usl ivi
compreso il ruolo del medico di Medicina Generale.
Prerequisiti Conoscenza della semeiotica e metodologia clinica, della fisiopatologia e
della farmacologia.
Metodi didattici Lezione in presenza con utilizzo di presentazione in power point.
Discussione e domande.
Proiezione del film "NEXT GENERATION".

Modalità di verifica
dell'apprendimento
ll modulo è parte integrante del corso di "Igiene, sanità pubblica e
politiche per la salute", che prevede un unico esame finale, comprensivo
di tutti i moduli. L'esame consiste in una prova orale che permetterà di
valutare il raggiungimento degli obiettivi formativi, in particolare le
conoscenze e le competenze acquisite, la capacità di collegamento, di
analisi critica e di comunicazione.
Qualora a causa del perdurare dell'emergenza sanitaria fosse necessario
adottare la modalità a distanza per gli esami di profitto, si procederà

Assessment methods and criteria
The module is an integral part of the course "Hygiene, public health and
health policies"
The course includes an oral exam in order to assess the knowledge and
skills acquired by the students during the course; moreover critical
analysis and communication skills acquired will be evaluated.
In case of the persistence of the health emergency, the exams will be
conducted remotely, as follows:
