Course unit content
The course of Digital Visualization of Project (4 CFU) introduces the language codes and digital tools for the representation of the architecture, from the environmental context to formal components and constructive.
There are theoretical lessons about the following topics:
-The role of the design: presents the different types of architecture design made for different purposes
-The competition table and the author's drawing: the conceptual representation of the architecture's idea
- Representation and geometry of contemporary architecture: the knowledge of the new geometries for the design.
On this topic is expected a deepening on C4D, modeling software and three-dimensional animation.
We will then tackle the issues related to importing data from CAD programs and setting the parameters to obtain static images of high photorealistic output, such as:
– Modelling and deformation of basic architectural elements
– Content Browser
– Import/Export data from CAD (AutoCAD, Allplan...)
- Materials and textures manager
– The environment (setting of lights and rooms)
– Scene creation (floor, sky, background)
– Photoinsertion (environmental impact)
-Rendering
-Post Production
