Learning objectives
The Integrated Course of SCIENCES PRELIMINARY II aims to enable the student to know and understand the main events and the professional code of ethics of the speech-language pathologist and acquire the basics of speech therapy evaluation and the correct procedures for conducting a Budget speech therapy in early childhood.
The course also aims to enable students to apply the knowledge and understanding acquired to orient themselves during the early stages of the practical training.

Course unit content
The Integrated Course of Science propaedeutic II includes the following contents: The first lessons relate to the description of general and specific skills of the professional and the speech therapist also through the analysis of the code of ethics; Then we analyze the general principles that guide the assessment of comprehension and language production compared to the main components (vocabulary, morphosyntax phonology) and the different evolutionary phases with a focus on direct and indirect instruments and methods of transcription of speech. The second part of the course aims to provide students with the basics first to identify all diseases pertaining to speech therapy and levels of language that are subject to evaluation in the budget speech therapy and later discusses the neuropsychological bases of linguistic competence. Then it focuses on how to investigate the prevailing understanding of language from early childhood. Finally, the last part of the course introduces the student in assessing speech therapy through the presentation of the main test. Students have the opportunity to deepen the knowledge on each tool testistico referring to the respective manuals of administration, an activity which is undertaken during the internship allowing integration with the knowledge gained during the lectures.

Teaching methods
The lectures provide the presentation in video projection of the course content with the help of footage of evaluation sessions and the vision test and analysis of speech therapy evaluation; the oral lectures are supported by the projection of the contents and are complemented by the reporting of library materials and sitografico. At the end of the lesson is given space to any discussion.
Assessment methods and criteria
The assessment of learning and knowledge takes place during the appeals provided for by the teaching calendar, by oral, in the presence of the Committee of Professors of Integrated Course SCIENCES PRELIMINARY II.
The assessment of learning and knowledge also includes a written examination. By means of written questions about the contents of the course, will occur if the student has achieved the objectives of knowledge and understanding of the course content. The student must be able to demonstrate knowledge of the code of ethics and guidelines for the assessment of speech therapy and possess the knowledge provided by the educational objectives of the course.
